Do you think that people(Filipinos,children) should study their own folklore, Philippine epics in particular?

Why? Do you think that these (epics) will teach younger children some values, or just are they just a bunch of crappy stories that should be left untold?

Well... they should be taught them simply because they're FILIPINO!

It not only teaches values, but preserves our culture and heritage.

Why do you think Japanese folklore in Japanese anime are so popular? That's because they study it so well. I hope we do so the same here.
